Every summer, our school Phénix & Dragon organizes its Summer Camp — a one-week program with Kung Fu classes for children, teens, and adults, set in a natural environment conducive to practice and personal growth. Naturally, children and teens fully find their place and immerse themselves in the practice with enjoyment!

During one week, two 45-minute Kung Fu classes are offered in the mornings for children and teens (except on the day off).

Who is the camp for?

• Children (around 5 to 12 years old) and teenagers (around 13 to 17 years old), whether beginners or already practicing.
• Families, siblings, or friends who want to participate together in the activities.

What is the program?

Outdoors, in the fresh air, over the course of the week, they discover or deepen practices suited to their age:

• Basic Kung Fu techniques, taos
• Introduction to nunchaku and staff for the younger ones
• Introduction to the laser sword for the older ones
• Development of coordination, breathing, and posture
• Learning concentration in movement

A rich collective life

The Summer Camp is also a shared living space:

• Mutual support, autonomy, daily routines
• Exchanges between children from different regions
• Respect for oneself, others, and the natural setting

Practice brings a lot to children, and many leave the experience feeling more confident in their bodies, more attentive to what they do, and more open to others and the world.

Our goal: friendliness, socialization, digital detox, connection with nature, enjoyment of movement, self-confidence — all within a caring environment!

And outside of Kung Fu?

Moreover, the campsite is located in Ardèche, near historic and natural sites such as the famous Pont d’Arc and its decorated cave, the Chauvet Cave, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

You can also go for a canoe or kayak trip down the Gorges de l’Ardèche, or explore its many charming villages such as Vallon Pont d’Arc or Saint Montan!

And for the parents?

If you practice, you can join the adult classes. Ask for the program! We offer Qi Gong, Taiji Quan, Kung Fu, and all levels are welcome, including beginners!

If you don’t practice, you can simply join us in the morning for the energy wake-up session. In the morning light, we get moving together gently.

What does it look like in video?

Where is it? Camping Capfun Imbourg, Larnas (Ardèche)

Our tent and practice area are located in the CAPFUN campsite at Imbours, in Larnas, Ardèche. Check out their website!

Each year, we rent a few bungalows at a preferential rate on this campsite, which you can benefit from. You can also stay outside the campsite and join us each day.

Registration details

We offer three different rates depending on the registration date:

• Super Early Bird, available to members of the Phénix & Dragon School, until January 31, 2026 (€220)
• Early Bird, open to everyone, until March 15, 2026 (€275)
• Standard Rate, until early July 2026 (€340)

In total, 10 classes of 45 minutes for children and teens, spread over 5 days (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).

The Summer Camp 2026 will take place from Saturday, July 4 to Saturday, July 11, 2026. The first children’s class will be on the morning of Sunday, July 5, and the last class on the morning of Friday, July 10.

Supervision outside of classes

Important: children and teens are supervised by the Phénix & Dragon School ONLY during the classes. The rest of the time, they are with you — parents, friends, family. We also offer a babysitting service that takes care of the children, brings them to the classes, returns them, and can watch them in the afternoons if needed.
